Blood sweat and t shirts will be on our TV screens on 22nd April at 9pm on BBC3. From the bits and pieces we have managed to glimpse so far it looks like it could be a very interesting programme. How much thought do we give to the origins of our clothing? Very little I would say. There is a lot of work being done to change these attitudes from within the industry itself, but it all comes at a price, if we want better conditions for the people who grow our cotton and make our clothes, we need to start paying more for our clothes, the alternatives are there, and if we invest in them now, ultimately, we will end up with a far superior product that we can wear with a clear conscience.
