Fundraising Tea Towels for Schools

Submitted by Steve on Thursday, 25 September 20082 Comments

It’s that time of year again! The Tea Towel art packs are starting to go out again as the schools gear up for their christmas fundraising activities.

We are carefully monitoring the number of art packs going out, and already, we are anticipating another mad year. The Christmas deadline is not one that can be changed and every year we find ourselves working around the clock to squeeze in the late comers and top up orders. Early ordering of your school tea towels is definately the way to avoid stress and last minute panics, parents are often asking for a few more once they have seen their childs portrait on the tea towel, and they always want them before Christmas. So the final week of term for Advertees is fraught to say the least, last minute phone calls from stressed teachers trying to please the demanding parents is the norm, but we are quite confident in our abilities to aleviate some of this worry and get the orders out in good time. We do all that we can to ensure everyone recieves their orders and never take on more than we can manage. There is always a point every year where we have to start saying no, so to save any disappointment order your fundraising tea towels as early as possible, as we are already predicting a very busy year.

Glad to hear you can still handle the work without me and are keeping busy.

With all the universities starting again, will you expect a high demand for one-off t shirts for parties and such? Sounds like a good opportunity for a bit of direct to garment printing.

And it looks like you sorted your feedburner issues, well done Roy, good luck for Monday. Jacob is interested in seeing what you come up with in the way of a logo for Advertees, no pressure! and only if you find time and inspiration. His article on briefs was really useful, any how back to the tea towel printing!
