Advertees has been printing t shirts for more than 30 years. The business was started by Ron Briggs in 1973 and although retired some years ago, Ron is still keen to keep steering the business in the right direction. The intenet has had a huge impact our industry, but despite this major shift, Ron still has plenty of advice to give on matters which never change.

Here at Advertees two very contrasting situations sit side by side. Our workshops output a significant amount of t shirt orders throughout the UK every year, value weight, and promotional T shirts from cheaper sources, but increasingly organic T shirts and water-based T shirt printing, as we realise the benifits of paying more for a sustainable product. Ensuring fair trade and Sustainable farming methods will mean an increase in cost, but the price of consuming cheaper alternatives will be high in the long term. At Advertees we are fortunate enough to be able to operate from rural Cornwall (we are based in Blackwater nr Truro) and make good use of the grounds in which we are situated, we have chickens, fruit trees and vegetables surrounding our factory. We are making steps towards a more sustainable T shirt printing business, but we are still dependent on a market which is driven by the widest choice at the best price, finding the right balance is what we want for our business, fair trade and minimal impact on the planet is what we hope to achieve for every product we sell.
